Weather update: 10:15 PM Sunday
It has been fabulous weekend! Today we got into the upper 70s and low 80s but with the low humidity it made for some very comfortable conditions. We will continue to see clear skies tonight and calm wind. Temps will slowly fall back into the mid 50s tonight, which is seasonal for this time of year.
We keep the May-like temps all week long! I think summer is finally starting to show across the region. This week we are looking at a surge in humidity as well and the chance for rain returns.
So, for Monday, high pressure remains in control keeping skies clear. Afternoon temps will be continuing to warm up and we are expected to warm into the low to mid 80s. So it’ll be a tad warmer tomorrow but the clouds are likely to return by late afternoon and evening.
THIS WEEK
By Tuesday the unsettling wet weather pattern sets up. As the high pressure system shifts off to the east, it will make for a southwesterly flow bringing in the heat and moisture. We will have the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms almost every day this week even into next weekend. Now, it will also be muggy and hot across the area. It is is more like summer than we’ve see so far this year. Get ready for a hot, humid, and possibly wet week ahead.
