Weather Update – 11:15 p.m. Tuesday
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible tonight. Under partly to mostly cloudy skies, temperatures will only drop to the middle and upper 60s by sunrise at 5:44 a.m. Wednesday morning.
WEDNESDAY
Skies will be partly cloudy once again on Wednesday but showers and thunderstorms will be possible tomorrow morning through afternoon and evening. There’s a 30% chance for rain on Wednesday. Locally heavy rainfall and occasional lightning are possible with any thunderstorms that develop. Highs will be in the middle to upper 80s.
REST OF THE WEEK
As the front responsible for this chance for rain slowly moves east, West Tennessee will become more likely to have showers and thunderstorms – especially on Friday and Saturday. High temperatures will continue to warm up to the middle and upper 80s with the increasing humidity making temperatures feel like they’re in the lower 90s at times.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
Scattered showers and thunderstorms may kick off the holiday weekend off with rain. As of right now, it appears that drier weather is more likely Sunday and Monday. We’re keeping an eye on the chance for rain on Monday, but at this point in the forecast, it’s less than 10%.
