Most of the showers that made their way into West Tennessee yesterday have now dissipated. Today will be the highest chance for any rain showers and a few rumbles of thunder for the rest of Memorial Day weekend.

CURRENT

Currently across West Tennessee everyone is somewhere in the upper 60s or low 70s. There is still some clouds that are hanging around and unfortunately they won’t move out until as early as tomorrow.

HOLIDAY WEEKEND

The showers and thunderstorms are most likely to occur in the afternoon and late evening hours. Temperatures today should also stay in the low to mid 80s but due to the moisture that is possible, it could get a little muggy outside until the sun sets at 8:04PM.

Going into Sunday the rain chance will decrease and the likelihood of any rain shower or thunderstorm is less significant and the same follows for Monday. Any precipitation that could happen is a possible pop-up shower and maybe a little bit of thunder here and there. Temperatures will rise on Sunday and Monday staying consistently in the upper 80s. Lows will most likely bottom out into the low to mid 60s.

THIS WEEK

We continue to see a chance for rain the rest of the week and well into Saturday. As of right now it is looking like it will be mostly isolated showers and thunderstorms until we reach Wednesday which will give us the highest chance for any rain or storms. Temperatures will soar into the upper 80s as we head into the work week. Real feel temperatures may actually even be more like the mid 90s due to possible chances of rain.
