Pop up showers possible all weekend

Weather Update: 5:00 PM Saturday

Currently things are quiet across West Tennessee. Really just dealing with some lingering clouds but those will continue to make there way off to the east as we go overnight tonight. Current temps are still in the 70s and it is muggy.

Tonight, it’ll be another quiet evening across the area. As we lose daytime heating it will drop the chance for any more pop-up activity. Clouds will clear out of here for the most part tonight too. Overnight lows are expected to fall back into the mid 60s.

REST OF THE LONG WEEKEND
Both Sunday and Monday look to be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with the slight chance for pop up showers and thunderstorms. Again, with the heating of the day we could see some more afternoon activity isolated throughout West Tennessee, not everyone will get rain across the area. Highs both days are expected to be in the mid and upper 80s. With the humidity in place it could feel closer to 90 degrees in some locations.

REST OF THE WEEK
Tuesday also remains with only a slight chance for scattered rain activity fueled by the heating of the day. By midweek, the chance for more widespread showers and thunderstorms returns and the chance lingers to end the work week. There is also a slight cool down by the end of the week as well with highs only around the 80 degree mark.
