Accused gunman faces robbery charge in Allenton Heights shooting
JACKSON, Tenn. — A man has been charged in a recent shooting outside the Allenton Heights apartment complex.
Quintez Lamont Brown is facing an aggravated robbery charge after police say he pistol whipped the victim before shooting him in the upper-left chest area, according to court documents.
Police say the shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. May 20.
The victim, a 59-year-old man, later identified Brown as the gunman from a photo lineup, according to police.
The man told officers Brown took his wallet, $40 in cash and his cell phone.
