Weather Update: 10:00 AM Wednesday

Currently we are seeing more and more clouds  move into West Tennessee out ahead of a cold front. There were some light isolated rain showers this morning but nothing substantial or measurable. Local temps are in the low to mid 70s and it’s quickly heating up! Local dew points are in the upper 60s to low 70s maing it uncomfortable to oppressive out there.

This afternoon high temps are expected to reach into the upper 80s. The chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms stay in the forecast today as the first of two cold fronts move our way.

Tonight temps stay warm and in the upper 60s under mostly cloudy skies. It’ll be a muggy night with a slight chance for an isolated rain shower. The next best chance for more widespread activity will set up behind the first cold front on Thursday with the chance for thunderstorms.

The chance for rain remains in the forecast through the weekend as the secondary cold front arrives Saturday. As of right now, showers look to stick around into Sunday morning and clear out by the afternoon. The humidity will drop behind this frontal system as will the temps. We’re looking to start next week with little to no humidity and temps in the upper 70s t0 low 80s! Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the very latest updates to this forecast.
