Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. Wednesday

Clear skies will continue with light winds. Temperatures should be able to reach the upper 50s with a few areas in the middle 50s by sunrise at 5:40 a.m. Thursday morning. We’ll get warmer day-by-day with the humidity forecast to return too. A hot and humid weekend is going to be on tap for West Tennessee!

THURSDAY
Another sunny day is forecast for West Tennessee with scattered clouds mixed in. High pressure will be overhead keeping skies mainly clear, winds light, and conditions dry. Temperatures will warm up to the middle and upper 80s and the UV Index will be very high – a 10. That means it could take 15 minutes or less for unprotected skin to get a sunburn!

FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND
High pressure will move east allowing winds to return from the south, bringing humid air back to West Tennessee. Highs in the 90s are forecast from Friday through the weekend with the humidity making temperatures feel like they’re close to 100°F during the afternoon. Our next chance for rain doesn’t return until Sunday at which point we’ll have a slight chance for a stray shower or thunderstorm.
