WEATHER UPDATE- 10:30AM
TODAY
Today we have a very slight chance for an isolated shower or two, mostly along the Tennessee-Mississippi border, that could pop up during the daylight hours. As far and in-between as those showers will most likely be, they could produce heavier pockets of downpours if it decides to rain. Even some lightening along with the thunderstorms could be seen. Temperatures will heat up quickly on this Saturday, however the humidity will be low so the air won’t feel as heavy with the temperature being so high.
TOMORROW
On Sunday we could encounter higher, much hotter temperatures. The forecast heat index is suggesting anywhere in the low 100s for most of West Tennessee. The humidity level will stay on the low side, but will also increase slightly compared to Saturday’s humidity level. The chance for rain also goes up to 20%, but the same conditions are possible. This rain and/or thunderstorm chance is mostly calling for pop-ups anywhere in West Tennessee on Sunday. Unfortunately the rain chance does go up as we head into the work week.
THE REST OF THE WEEK
By Monday we will increase the chance for any showers or thunderstorms to 30% and it continues to climb all the way into Thursday until we have a lesser chance, as of right now, on Friday. Temperatures will cool off slightly, but now by much. With the chance of rain that we have the rest of the week, the moisture in the air could also make it feel muggier outside. Although there are chances for rain and storms this coming week, we could also see some sunshine on a few of those days.
