Weather Update: 9:00 PM Sunday

It’s a slow cool down this evening. Current temps are in the upper 70s to low 80s. Skies are still mostly clear to partly cloudy, but as we head overnight, more clouds will take over the skies.

Tonight, there is a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms but the bulk of the rain should start arrive by tomorrow morning. Mostly cloudy to overcast skies are expected tonight with temps bottoming out in the mid to upper 70s.

Monday, we have a strong cold front arriving and this will bring a better chance for showers and thunderstorms across the entire area. Some storms may become strong at times but we are not under a threat for severe weather. Afternoon temps reach back into the upper 80s to low 90s.

Tuesday looks to be the hottest day this week before a Canadian air mass drops south following Monday’s front. Afternoon high temps this week look to stay in the upper 80s to low 90s. It’s going to feel much more comfortable! The humidity will drop off and we should dry out Tuesday and remain dry for most of the week. The next round of rain doesn’t look to until the end of the week and into next weekend.
