DQ helps Children’s Miracle Network with “Miracle Treat Day”
JACKSON, Tenn. –Eat ice cream for a good cause. Thursday, participating Dairy Queen restaurants hosted “Miracle Treat Day.”
For more than 10 years, $1 or more from every Blizzard will be donated to Children Miracle Hospitals. One local DQ manager said they have been busy since they opened, Thursday.
“It’s been awesome…the support from the Jacksonians. We’ve been busy since we opened the door at 10:30 and it’s just so amazing everyone is taking into consideration this is for the children,” said Janelle Bush, DQ store manager.
Bush told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News, the donations from her store on North Highland and the one on Vann Drive will go to the nearest hospital, LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
