Week One: Top Plays
JACKSON, Tenn — Week one’s top plays are as followed.
Coming in at number five, Bruceton’s Grant Davis finds wideout Zane Mebane for a long touchdown reception. Bruceton takes down West Carroll, 26-22.
Number four is, Dresden’s Dresser Winn with the fake punt, pass completion to teammate Austin Thomas for the first down. Lions defeat the Chargers, 40-6.
In the three spot, McKenzie’s Larenzo Haynes picks up a Dyer Co. mishandled snap on the field goal and goes the other way for a touchdown. The Rebels beat the Choctaws, 32-13.
At number two, USJ’s Jacob Buie drops back and finds Wells Smith with a defender all over him for a Bruins touchdown. USJ falls to FACS, 36-29.
The top play belongs to Milan’s Lamartez Brooks for his second punt return touchdown of the day, his third total touchdown. The Bulldogs take down Peabody, 56-12.
