Lane College inducts new Sports Hall of Fame members

JACKSON, Tenn. — Lane College inducted new members Friday into the school’s Sports Hall of Fame.

The school inducted eight individuals including former NFL player and Super Bowl champion Jacoby Jones and renowned boxer Obie Beard.

The dinner and ceremony took place in the school’s gym.

Other inductees include local businessman James Wolfe, Dr. J.L. Perry, the late Fred Lane, Neal McCall and Joycelyn Austin.
