Top plays from week one of the playoffs

JACKSON, Tenn — The top five plays from week one of the playoffs are as followed:

#5: Bolivar’s Trey Lowe throws to Cornelious Polk who makes a few Bulldog defenders miss and went in for the score, but Milan comes away with the victory.

#4: Huntingdon’s Zach Dodson takes the hand off, follows his blockers and hits a burst down the sideline and goes in for the score. Huntingdon rolls past Trousdale County, 52-27.

#3: Liberty Tech’s ALec Long picks off Fayette Ware’s quarterback and goes the other way for a pick six and the Crusaders blank the Wildcats, 35-0.

#2: Dresden’s Blake Cashion picks off Booker T. Washington’s quarterback and returns it for a pick and six and later in the game his teammate Jordan Mitchell did the same thing. The Lions roll in this one, 46-8.

#1: Haywood’s Tillman McRae takes the snap, goes left and hits the after burners going in for the 99 yard touchdown. Haywood defeats Millington, 60-7.
