Two crashes slow down traffic in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.–Officers with the Jackson Police Department blocked off Whitehall Street due to a car accident Tuesday.
Wood pallets covered the roads as workers cleaned the scene. Police are still investigating and have not released how many people were involved or if anyone was injured.

Drivers were also slowed down due to a crash on Highway 45 near North Parkway. Jackson Police officers were seen directing traffic around the crash. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News crews noticed an ambulance and a damaged vehicle at the scene. No other information has been released on the crash.
