Showers Will Arrive Later Into The Weekend
Weather Update – 10:25 p.m. – Friday, October 4th
It was a significantly cooler day with temperatures a good 10-15 degrees cooler than they were on Thursday. Because of winds out of the northeast bringing in the cool and dry conditions, tonight will be even cooler with lows dropping into the mid 50s for most along with clear skies.
Tomorrow will be slightly warmer with some areas being just shy of the 90 degree mark, but low humidity will keep it feeling comfortable. Winds will be out of the north but will continue to stay calm.
There is an elevated wildfire risk into the weekend. With the combination of dry vegetation, low humidity and strong enough winds you’ll need to be cautious when dealing with anything that could spark a fire. Relief from dry conditions though will come in the form of a second “Fall front” that will move through Sunday night into Monday. This will bring in the chance for scattered showers and storms and much needed rainfall to the area.
