Local seniors treated to drive-thru Christmas party

JACKSON, Tenn. — Local seniors held a Christmas celebration on Monday.

West Tennessee Healthcare’s Mature Advantage Club hosted their members in a drive-thru Christmas party.

Organizers said usually they host around 200-300 people, but this year they scaled it down.

“The mission of our hospital is to promote the well-being of all our community members,” said Regina Smith, West Tennessee Healthcare’s senior services manager. “By keeping our senior citizens busy, on the move and learning new things, that is doing exactly that: promoting their wellbeing.”

The MAC Club will be holding drive-thru celebrations Tuesday in Milan and Martin and Wednesday in Bolivar.
