Legends of Tennessee football camp held in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Young athletes are getting an experience of skill development, character building, and community engagement.

The Legends of Tennessee football camp was held today in Jackson. Legends of Tennessee is a VFL Tennessee nonprofit committed to empowering youth with football camps, education, and leadership skills.

The camp was held at Jackson Christian School. Guest coaches included members of the UT Vols football team.

“While you play the game, so much discipline and so many life skills that you can learn that can carry you for the next 40, 50 years of your life. Just teaching kids how to work hard, how to work with others, how to have great sportsmanship and always give 100% in everything that you do,” said Jabari Davis, president and CEO of Legends of Tennessee.

A camp will be held in Selmer from May 7 to May 9 at McNairy Central High School.
