Derrell Wayne Cobb

Derrell Wayne Cobb, age 82, resident of Middleton, Tennessee and husband of Robyn L. Cobb, departed this life Wednesday evening, December 23, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Mississippi.

Derrell was born November 28, 1938 in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of the late Lendall David Cobb and Carrie Mae Alexander Cobb. He graduated from Treadwell High School in 1956 and served his country in the United States Army. He was a former resident of Bartlett, Tennessee and was married August 5, 1960 to the former Robyn Lewis. He employed as a heating and cooling steamfitter for many years and Mr. and Mrs. Cobb moved to Middleton, Tennessee following his retirement.

Derrell was of the Christian faith and was a 32nd Degree Mason and Scottish Rite. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting. He loved special times with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife of 60 years, Robyn L. Cobb of Middleton, TN; his daughter, Cathy Hall and her husband, Randy of Bartlett, TN; his son, Brian Scott Cobb and his wife, Shirley of Clarkrange, TN; his granddaughter, Lauren Rook of Bartlett, TN; and two great-grandchildren, Lonna Rook of Bartlett, TN and Reid Milka of Bartlett, TN.

There will be a private funeral service held at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society, 5101 Wheelis Drive, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38117.
