Additional death, 21 new COVID-19 cases in Madison Co.
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has confirmed another Madison County resident has died due to COVID-19.
That resident is:
- a 75-year-old man died Jan. 16.
The total number of COVID-19 related deaths is now 158 for Madison County.
The health department also confirmed another 21 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to 9,926.
Those patients range in age from 3-years-old to 85-years-old.
There are currently 24 Madison County residents hospitalized, with five of those patients on a ventilator.
The health department also released statistics on patients, including zip code, race, gender, age and their health statuses.
