Child killed in Grand Junction shooting

GRAND JUNCTION, Tenn. — The Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a child was killed in a shooting Tuesday in Grand Junction.

The sheriff’s office says deputies responded to a report of a shooting on Pearl Road and found a 7-year-old boy injured.

The boy was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the sheriff’s office.

The investigation remains ongoing.
