Data shows additional drop in Tennessee unemployment rate
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — New data shows a third month of lower unemployment in Tennessee.

According to Department of Labor and Workforce Development data, preliminary data shows a drop from 4.9% in June, to 4.6% in August.
The department says this an over 3% drop from the unemployment rate in the state in August of 2020.
The department says job seekers can use www.Jobs4TN.gov to find work.
