City of Selmer swears in first female mayor
SELMER, Tenn. — The City of Selmer officially swore in their first female mayor, Sherry Inman.
Inman says she is ready to start this new challenge and she has a lot of vision and dreams for the city.
She says she wants to bring a new look to the city and more small businesses.
And she adds that she wants to inspire the next generation of leaders.
“My passion is also with the kids, our young leaders. I want to be an example for them and hopefully just make Selmer grow,” Inman said.
Inman also says she wants to thank her team and supporters.
