K-pop comes to Jackson-Madison Co. Library
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson-Madison County Library is hosting a club for fans of K-pop.
Ollie Rieger, the team service manager of the library, says Isabelle, a club member, suggested the idea to her.
Isabelle says she wanted to help create a space where like-minded individuals can come and learn about new music as well as experience a new culture.
“When you listen to K-pop you also lean more towards K-drama also. You see a lot of the culture and or a lot of the culture that happens on TV. You see, like, what happens or their culture of food or holidays and stuff like that. It just opens your mind more,” said club member, Isabelle Puente.
Rieger says anyone is welcome, and for more information contact the Jackson-Madison County Library at (731) 425-8600 or visit the website here.
