McGruff the Crime Dog returns to educate next generation
JACKSON, Tenn. — McGruff the Crime Dog is back and ready to educate the next generation.
For decades, McGruff has been a famous figure in the lives of many adults, because of his stamina in encouraging and educating them as children.
Parents have voiced their desire to have McGruff come back and educate their children on the dangers of e-commerce, and McGruff has gladly answered through the “Go For Real” campaign.
McGruff and Paul DelPonte, Executive Director of the National Crime Prevention Council, gave advice on how to distinguish fake products.
“Look at the products carefully, look at the pictures, look at the logos, are the colors correct?” DelPonte questioned. “Is the quality of the product up to the standards that you expect? Importantly, look at the price, if it is too good to be true, it probably is, right McGruff?”
“Yeah, if it too good to be true, it usually is,” McGruff agreed.
