Names released of West Tennesseans killed during storms
MCNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — The names of those lost locally during Friday’s tornado outbreak have been confirmed.
According to McNairy County Sheriff Guy Buck, a total of nine people were killed due to the storms in McNairy County.
Those lost include: Billie Pinckney of Winding Ridge, Raymond and Nancy Gegner of Old Stage, Maria and William Avilia of Rose Creek, Myrna Correa and Allen Littlefield, also of Rose Creek, and Charles and Lisa Cook from the Millard Lane area.
At least 32 deaths have been confirmed following the storms that swept across the U.S. last week.
