Pop-up Christmas markets to offer early start on holiday shopping this weekend
JACKSON, Tenn. — A promising weekend may be in store for those looking to get an early start on holiday shopping.
Special Christmas-themed markets will be popping up in multiple counties.
On November 3 and 4, the Carroll County Christmas Market will take place at the Carroll County Civic Center in Huntingdon. More than 75 vendors are expected, along with food, Christmas card mini pictures, and a visit from Santa on Saturday after lunch. The market will be open from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. There is no cost of admission.
On Saturday, November 4, the Lexington Holiday Mart will take place inside the Lexington Christian Academy gym. The event will feature over 30 vendors, food trucks, and pictures with Santa. The Lexington Holiday Mart will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In Jackson, the “Jingle All The Way” holiday craft fair will be held at the South Jackson Community Center from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday. The event, which supports local crafters, offers a silent auction, face painting, door prizes, food trucks, and photos with Santa.
Also in Jackson, this weekend will bring the return of the First Friday Art Walk and the Hub City Flea Market. The art walk will take place downtown early Friday evening, while the flea market will be held Friday through Sunday at the Jackson Fairgrounds.
