Annual Christmas parade kicks off in Henderson

HENDERSON, Tenn. — One local city ushers in the Christmas season in a big way.

The City of Henderson welcomed in the holidays with their annual Christmas parade Thursday evening. There were floats, bands, civic organizations, local dignitaries and even Old St. Nick was part of the parade, which made its way down Main Street.

Even the bitter cold didn’t keep eager spectators away from enjoy this event. City leaders say this is their favorite event as well, and are look forward to an even bigger parade next year.
