Top Ladies of Distinction present 2025 Go Red Luncheon

JACKSON, Tenn.—One organization brings back an event to raise awareness to the importance of heart health.

The annual Lady Annie Ruth Rogers Go Red for Your Heart and Soul Luncheon was held Saturday afternoon in Jackson.

The event hosted by the Jackson Chapter of the Top Ladies of Distinction takes this time to celebrate the heart survivors throughout the community and educate others about heart disease.

The event includes a heart-healthy meal, silent auction, vendors, door prizes and also a special guest speaker from the medical field.

The organization says Go Red is more than just wearing red clothing, it’s about educating and raising awareness.

The luncheon is presented as a community service for the Black community, who are at most risk for heart related disorders, like hypertension or heart disease.

“This is an event that we’ve been having in the community for 14 years because it’s all about awareness, heart health, and how important it is to the women,” said Pamela Springfield, Pres. of the Top Ladies of Distinction, LLC.

This is the 14th year the event has been held by the organization.
