Exotic Pet Expo returns to the Hub City

JACKSON, Tenn.—If you have a love for exotic animals? This weekend the Hub City has the perfect event for you.

The Exotic Pet Expo was held at the Jackson Fairgrounds Saturday. The event began at 9 in the morning and offers guests the opportunity to see something they don’t see everyday.

The show includes an elaborate display of unique and exotic species of animals including reptiles, birds and more.

And if guests are brave enough, they can even purchase some of the critters to take home.

For those not interested in purchasing a new pet, the event also has a large selection of vendors on site selling various other merchandise.

“They have here everything from cats, dogs, snakes, lizards, birds. You can find anything you want out here for your pets and it’s going to be either a better product than you’re going to find in the pet stores or cheaper,” said Chris Carlson, Co-owner of Wendy’s Winged Companions.

Don’t worry if you didn’t make it out to the expo Saturday, the fun continues Sunday.

The Exotic Pet Expo will open beginning at 10 in the morning and continue until 4 in the evening.
