Plane crashes in Coffee Co. Tennessee leaving multiple people injured

COFFEE CO., Tenn.—-The Tennessee Highway Patrol says they are assisting with a plane crash that occurred in Coffee County, Tennessee on Old Shelbyville Road earlier this afternoon.

Per the information reported by THP, initially it was thought to have anywhere from 16 to 20 people aboard.

However, after surveying the scene, Tullahoma authorities are saying that six people were injured with three flown to area hospitals.

The investigation is active and ongoing with Tullahoma and Coffee Co. EMS handling response efforts.

As the investigation continues, more information will be released at a later time.
