City of Jackson’s Clean Up Day returns
JACKSON, Tenn.—The City of Jackson hosts its 11th Clean Up Day.
The event presented by the City of Jackson’s Health and Sanitation Department happened Saturday beginning at 8 in the morning and continued until noon.
Clean up Day is for Jackson residents and takes place at the Public Works Yard located at 164 Conalco Drive.
The event is a great way to help residents to properly dispose of unwanted items that are not typically collected through the traditional waste services.
Some of the items collected were mattresses, furniture, tires, and other oversized items. There was also paper shredding services on site.
