JACKSON, Tenn.—The 42nd Annual Circles of Hope Telethon happens in the Hub City.
The annual telethon is a huge fundraiser for the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. The event kicked off at 1pm Sunday at the Civic Center.
The event features an array of talented guests and allows callers the opportunity to call in to a specialized staff with a donation to the cause.
Last year’ s 2024 event raised over 1.5 million dollars for the cause.
The telethon is aired live right here on WBBJ ABC 7, as well as livestreamed on Facebook.
“It’s so important because we’ve served over eight thousand individuals last year, and it’s so important to let them come and receive services at no charge. We don’t charge for our services,” said Pam Nash, President/CEO Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center.
This year’s telethon raised $1,523,355 which goes to support the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
