Cotton Ridge community continues its Labor Day tradition
JACKSON, Tenn.—One local community continues a Labor Day tradition with food, fun, and friendship.
The Cotton Ridge community hosted its 6th annual Labor Day gathering Sunday afternoon.
The celebration began at 3 p.m. and had a great turn out with neighbors coming together to grill and spend the holiday enjoying one another’s company.
There was lots of grilled food, delicious sides and also a bounce house for the kids.
The Cotton Ridge community provides plates of food for free to those who stop in, only accepting donations from those who can give.
This tradition is one that this local community is proud to continue and neighbors say they hope to see it happen for years to come.
