Casey Jones Village Festival offers fun for everyone

JACKSON , Tenn.—One Jackson staple invites the community to enjoy a day filled with family fun.

The Casey Jones Village Fest kicked off Saturday morning at 10 and continued until 2 in the afternoon.

The free event had several activities available for every member of the family to enjoy.

Guests could enjoy a hayride, play some yard games, or take in a dollar game of mini golf.

Other activities included a foam party, pallet maze to explore, crafts, and some fun fall photo opportunities.

A petting zoo, bounce houses, as well as face painting was available for the kids.

Also on hand were several vendors offering items to purchase, and some tasty treats to enjoy throughout the day.

“As we wrap up our 60th year in celebration of opening in 1965, we’ll have our Christmas Eve breakfast on Christmas Eve. We have some other events that are coming up with that, so just check out our Facebook page and stay tuned for upcoming events,” said Brooks Shaw, President of Old Country Store and Casey Jones Village.

Organizers plan to provide the Casey Jones Village Festival for the community to enjoy for years to come. You can also keep up with the dates and times for upcoming events by visiting Brooks Shaw Old Country
