Jackson Doc Fest returns to Lane College

JACKSON, Tenn.–Jackson Doc Fest returns to the campus of Lane College.

The fourth annual Jackson Doc Fest happened Saturday evening at the Chambers-McClure Theater at Lane College.

The evening included an awards reception honoring guests, a red carpet awards ceremony, performance from Ballet Arts, along with a gala.

This year’s event also recognizes West TN native and legend Carl Perkins with the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award. Perkins is widely known as the “King of Rockabilly.”

The film festival is a free event and open to the public.
