Police pursuit in Jackson ends in homeowner’s yard
JACKSON, Tenn. — An apparent police pursuit in the Hub City ended in a homeowner’s yard.
Just after 2:30 Friday afternoon, a WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Tipster alerted us to a heavy law enforcement presence in northeast Jackson, at the River Chase subdivision off of Henderson Road.
Our crew arrived to find Jackson Police, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Violent Crimes Unit, and a K9 officer responding to the scene.

Authorities were seen surrounding a white four-door sedan.
A witness told us that the vehicle being pursued crashed into his mailbox, and came to a stop just outside of his home.

Our crew also saw one individual be placed into the back of a police cruiser.
We reached out to Jackson Police for more information, however no further details have been confirmed at this time.

We’ll provide an update should additional information become available.
