Black Friday sales winding down
JACKSON, Tenn.—Shoppers are taking advantage of the final day of Black Friday deals here in the Hub City.
Some retailers have offered deals beginning since before the Thanksgiving holiday, while many merchants kept their most anticipated deals for Black Friday.
Now many businesses will be winding down Black Friday sales events in preparation for Cyber Monday.
Kohl’s is offering its Cyber Week sale with discounts storewide and additional savings online.
We spoke with a few in-store Black Friday shoppers to see if the sales met their expectations.
“These girls were looking for skin care and things like that and they still had some good deals at Kohl’s. We found some things 30 percent off. They had a lot of their Christmas stuff out and things marked down, decorations and things like that. We came right after church so there were a lot of people that we knew in Kohl’s,” said Tish McGhee, holiday shopper.
Although, Black Friday sales typically end at midnight on the Sunday following Thanksgiving, there’s no reason to fret, most retailers will host Cyber Monday sales shortly after.
