Youth Villages hosted holiday party for families in foster care program Thursday evening

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Dec. 19, 2025) – Youth Villages, a leading children’s mental and behavioral health national nonprofit, hosted a holiday foster care party at the Youth Villages office in Jackson (24 Weatherford Square) on Thursday night. The event brought together parents and children involved in Youth Villages’ foster care program to celebrate their accomplishments and the joy of the season.

Families who have finalized adoptions through the past year as well as current foster families attended the party. Right now, dozens of Youth Villages children, with ages ranging from 5 to 18, are looking for adoptions in Tennessee.

“Our annual holiday party is a time for fellowship, fun and laughter. As an organization, we want our families to have a moment to embody the holiday spirit and truly enjoy one another,” said Delvit Rogers, Youth Villages foster care training manager. “It is the extended family gathering that we all experience with our own families.”

In 2025, Youth Villages finalized 83 adoptions across the state of Tennessee and 26 in West Tennessee, giving those children a forever home just in time for the holidays.
