Leaders Education Foundation awards more than $30,000 in scholarships

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Leaders Education Foundation hosted its 7th annual meeting at the J. Walter Barnes Conference Center at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital to reflect on 2025 successes and recognize the 2026 collegiate scholarship recipients.

The organization presented more than $30,000 in new scholarships and program support.

“We are very excited tonight to be able to give 20 collegiate scholarships of over $28,000,” said Leighanne Bentley, president of the Leaders Education Foundation. “They range from $1,000 to $2,500 each. The ones we’re giving for academic excellence, for community service different aspects being community oriented.”

The Leaders Education Foundation allows community-minded citizens, members and organizations to unite to make lives better together.
