FHU Tolls Bell to Start New School Year

HENDERSON, Tenn.-Freed-Hardeman University rang in the new school year, Wednesday with their Tolling of the Bell ceremony. The annual ceremony marks the 144th academic year at Freed-Hardeman. Selected to ring the bell were Tom and Jade Anderson, FHU alumni and naming donors for the school’s newly renovated science center. School officials said this is a tradition they are proud to call their own and one that makes FHU truly unique.
