Two indicted in Jackson’s first homicide of 2015
JACKSON, Tenn.-The Madison County Grand Jury also indicted two people in Jackson’s first homicide of 2015. Suspected gunman Jeremy Echols will be tried on one count of first degree murder and several counts of having a gun as a convicted felon. Echols is charged with gunning down James Roberson in January outside a home on Woodberry Trail. Echols’ girlfriend, Leslie Newsom was also indicted on counts of perjury and filing a false police report.
