Man Killed in Early Morning Crash

BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. – A Paris man is dead following an early morning crash in Benton County. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Christopher N. Albritton, 22, of Paris, was killed when the car he was a passenger in crashed on Old Homestead Road about three miles northeast of Big Sandy. The driver of the car was also injured. Reports indicate the car was traveling east on Old Homestead Road and ran off the south side of the roadway. The driver then over-corrected, crossed both lanes of traffic and ran off the other side of the road, ultimately striking a tree. Neither of the car’s passengers were wearing seat belts according to troopers.
