Union University students share research at Scholarship Symposium

JACKSON, Tenn. — Union University students presented their yearlong research findings Tuesday afternoon during the school’s annual Scholarship Symposium.

Hundreds of students from multiple departments presented their findings from collaborative research projects with their peers and professors. The hourlong session allowed the public to come and ask questions.

Students tell us they’ve been looking forward to this all semester long.

“It’s not just about sitting in class and learning but sometimes and most importantly it’s about you going out there and doing research and see how you can bring out new innovations to try to help the community,” pharmacy student Rene Effoe said.

Students also were able to make their presentations to different classes across campus.
