Viewer photos: storm damage in Selmer
SELMER, Tenn.–Viewer submitted photos show damage left after severe thunderstorm warning in Selmer Sunday afternoon.
A Selmer resident submitted photos from across the McNairy County city showing cars stalled in high water, toppled trees and downed power lines.
As of Sunday evening, the resident told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness news the power was out sporadically throughout Selmer and crews were working to clear the roadways.
WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Meteorologist Chelsea Ambriz said Selmer was under a severe thunderstorm warning for about 15 minutes.
