Beautiful afternoon! Temps are quickly falling but are currently sitting in the upper 50s to low 60s. We should bottom out in the low to mid 50s across the area. It’ll be a little chilly tonight as the skies continue to clear.
Expect crisp and cool conditions tonight throughout West Tennessee. Temps are expected to fall into the low 50s under clear skies. High pressure continues to build in the region and this will keep us with mainly clear conditions to end the weekend. There is a chance for morning fog but it won’t be quite as dense as we saw this morning. Just some patchy fog across the area is to be expected.
Sunday is expected to return into the mid and upper 70s, temps should be a few degrees warmer than they were Saturday. Mostly sunny skies will continue today along with the low humidity across the area.
THIS WEEK
This week the temperatures continue to warm into the low to mid 80s, which is a more seasonal for the month of May! We’ll start the week with high pressure still in the region but by Monday afternoon clouds start to return to West Tennessee. Moisture also start to increase across the region as the high pressure system starts shifting east. We are looking at a muggy week ahead as well, as a more unsettled weather pattern returning. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday through the end of the week.
