Pet of the week: Penny

JACKSON, Tenn.– The pet of the week for June 18th comes to WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News from the Downtown Dogs Group.

“Penny is a 7-year-old Feist with a heart of gold,” Michelle James with the animal rescue group said.

Penny is an owner surrender after six years. James said Penny was kept outside and surrendered because she would dig in the backyard.

James said Penny is now an indoor dog who loves long walks and lots of cuddle time.

“While she enjoys play and activity, she would be perfect for a retired couple who could spend all their time giving her the attention she deserves,” James said, “She rides comfortably in the car and would be an excellent travel companion.”
