Weather Update- 10PM

Current

Jackson’s current temperature is 79°. Some of us are still hanging on to 80 degrees, but as we head further into the nighttime hours we should be dropping down into the low 70s. The skies have cleared leaving us with a gorgeous summer night sky. The radar is also currently quiet. All in all, it is going to be a nice quiet and mild evening for West Tennessee.

Tomorrow

To start the work-week off we are going to have a fantastic day. The high temperature for the Jackson area is 89°. We may see some more humidity tomorrow during the daylight hours, but it isn’t going to feel as bad as the last few days we have had that have felt absolutely sticky and almost unbearable for some of us. The skies should be mostly clear thanks to a high pressure system that is pushing into our area, making for no break in the hot summer sun. Clouds should return back to the area by Monday evening and early into the day on Tuesday.

Rest of the Week

Speaking of Tuesday, that will be the day we begin our chance for rain. For the most part, VIPIRcast is predicting more isolated pockets of showers for Tuesday and Wednesday, which is why we only have a 30% chance, but I’m not going to rule out that not everyone will see a shower or two. There may even be a few rumbles of thunder. Then by Wednesday evening things should calm down and leave us with another great end to the week. We may have some cloud coverage stick around through the weekend and may even experience a few stray showers on Saturday and Sunday.

Have a great rest of the week!
