Scattered showers possible again Saturday
Weather Update 4:00 PM
Currently getting light scattered rain popping back up across the area. It’s all just a light sprinkle and this should be all it amounts to heading overnight. Temps are sitting in the upper 70s to low 80s and we should only cool a few more degrees by the morning hours.
Things will get quiet this evening but we could have some redevelopment late as the front starts to swing back to the north. Overnight showers and thunderstorms can’t be ruled out, but they will be scattered again across West Tennessee. Overnight lows will remain in the mid 70s with mostly cloudy skies.
Tomorrow, as the front makes it’s way back to the north we, again, could see more scattered showers and thunderstorms. But, it’ll most likely be in the northern half of West Tennessee. Temps for the weekend reach back into the low 90s but with the humidity just a few degrees lower, we should stay out of heat advisory criteria. Even though advisories may not be issued, it will still be a toasty weekend with some areas seeing those heat indices in the triple digits again!
The next best chance for widespread activity will be Monday when a stronger cold front approaches West Tennessee. Not only will it bring a better chance for showers and thunderstorms it will start a nice “cooling” trend into the middle of next week!
