Benton Co. deputies arrest 2 for drugs twice in same week
BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Benton County deputies arrested a man and woman for the second time in a week on multiple drug charges after a second search warrant revealed stolen property and other drugs.
Dale Robinson and Barbara Pierpoint were arrested around 6 p.m. Friday after authorities said they were able to determine a four-wheeler on their property was stolen.
Authorities had searched the property earlier this week while trying to locate a wanted felon. Pierpoint and Robinson initially were arrested Tuesday afternoon on drug charges.
Deputies obtained a new search warrant Friday night. Along with the stolen four-wheeler, a stolen chainsaw, a large bag of meth and smaller amounts of Xanax, marijuana, morphine, and heroin also were seized.
Pierpoint and Robinson both were taken into custody.
Pierpoint is charged with having drug paraphernalia and possession of morphine and heroin. Her bond is $50,000.
Robinson is charged with having drug paraphernalia, possession of Schedule II with intent to sell, possession Schedule IV (Xanax), possession Schedule II (Morphine), possession Schedule I (Heroin), theft over $1,000, possession Schedule VI (Marijuana), and is being held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
