Update: Death Row Doggies Will Stay Open

DRESDEN, Tenn.- Thanks to a generous donation from an out of state rescue group, Death Row Doggies, located in Weakley County will stay open, at least for now. Owner Deb Ellis told 7 Eyewitness News she was planning to close her shelter this week due to a lack of help and finances, but because of the donation, she now has more time to find homes for the dogs. The donation will allow Ellis to stay open for a few more weeks to a month. Around 20 dogs still need homes.
